In the middle of the islands, there is the "Porto della Madonna", which is not a port, but an enormous natural pool, where in the summer, the most beautiful yachts congregate to admire the sea bed through the crystal clear waters of this natural wonder.

As soon as you row ashore, walk along the narrow paths created by the continuous grazing of the goats through the short thick vegetation where one's eyes can sweep the surrounding archipelago through 360 degrees.

One immediately notices, especially during the high season, the different atmosphere along this 55 kilometre coast. This part of the coast was called, up to a few years ago, the Kingdom of Prince Karim Aga Khan, who discovered and developed this important and world renowned resort.
The most beautiful boats enter and leave Porto Cervo, (one of the best equipped and modern Mediterranean tourist ports which has a nautical centre reserved for the mythical 12 metre sailing boats of the Americas Cup). From the sea one can watch the golfers playing on Pevero golf course and sailing along the coast one can admire the luxurious villas of businessmen, artists, and cinema and TV personalities.
